Artist visits Cornerstone

Locally-based artist Hazel Keelan visited The Cornerstone this week to meet The Revd David Hodgson and discuss the possibilities for art in the building. Currently the Cornerstone Steering Group is exploring in what way works of art might be displayed. Hazel is due to speak to the Group at it next meeting in October. David Hodgson writes: The Cornerstone has huge potential as a building for displaying art work. This will need to be done sensitively and creatively because of its multi-user character. Hazel Keelan is a practising artist herself and also has a lot of experience of art in the community. I am very excited by the possibilites there could be through art for developing another aspect of the vision of The Cornerstone which is to enrich our lives and deepen our spirit of community.
