Newby Hall

We went to Newby Hall in North Yorkshire to watch an open-air performance of The Winter’s Tale by the Globe Theatre touring group.
The weather stayed dry! Newby Hall is famous for its stunning double herbacious borders (shown here), so we had the added bonus of garden delights in the evening sunshine before the play started.
